Re-Opening Plan

We have re-opened our church building to in person service on Sundays!

We are asking everyone to please abide by some special instructions during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Please read through this entire page.

Service Times:

Sunday at 9:00AM
The 9AM Sunday Service is our at risk service. We will take extra precautions during this service to make sure we protect the most vulnerable among us. Children under 12 years old will not be allowed at this service.
Sunday at 11:30AM
The 11:30AM Sunday Service is open to all ages. We are encouraging families with children under 12 years old to please come to this service. This will help us keep our at risk population safe at 9AM.
(All worship services have identical content.)

Kids ministry is now available during our Discipleship time at 10:15AM and during the 11:30AM worship service!

We are working to reopen our Sunday morning Bible Study groups (AKA Sunday School) in January of 2021.

Sedgwick County is now requiring all who are able to wear face masks over their nose and mouth to do so while in public settings. You can read the order HERE. As a non profit entity it is the duty of Cedar Pointe Church to inform you of this order and strongly encourage the use of masks while attending church services. Cedar Pointe Staff and Volunteers do not have the authority to enforce this order nor will they attempt to do so. If anyone is not wearing a mask during church activities it will be assumed they have a medical reason and they will not be questioned about medical conditions in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Here are some of the changes you will see at the church building:

-We ask that everyone please stay out of classrooms and other areas unless they have a specific reason to be there.
-Please social distance by keeping 6 feet between you and others when possible.
-If you are sick, have any symptoms of sickness or have a fever, please stay home until you are well.
-We ask that everyone please check their temperature before leaving home to come to church, if you have a fever please stay home.
-We ask that physical greetings be avoided, such as hand shaking, high fives, hugs, etc.
-We will not be passing out bulletins. Information about the church can instead be found on our website or app.
-We will not be passing offering plates. Instead we have set up giving drop boxes at the entrance/exit to the sanctuary. Online giving is also available.
-Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the building and all are encouraged to use it.
-The building will be cleaned before and after services with all commonly touched surfaces disinfected.
-Doors will be propped open. Please do not enter or exit through doors that are not propped open if possible.

Thank you for your understanding as we seek to keep everyone safe and healthy while we worship. We hope you will join us as we re-open the church to in person worship services!
